These larger works involve more complexity such as using two gluing techniques to facilitate some delicate carving. And the size of the works make them more difficult to carve, tool & burnish.

Old Pine

Old Pine is framed (35 x 41 inches) with fine Italian mouldings and museum quality glass which is anti-reflective and excludes 99% UV light. The frame was chosen by me to complement my work.

Northern Scene # 2 & 3 are impressionist images of the iconic rugged, windswept northern landscape that surrounded me with its austere beauty as I sailed the waters of Georgian Bay. They are matted in white; the frames are made of Italian mouldings chosen to complement the colour palette in the work. The glass eliminates 99% of UV light.
